Papua New Guinea Defoaming masterbatch

Defoaming masterbatch (also called moisture-removing masterbatch or water-absorbing masterbatch) is suitable for all kinds of enterprises using PE, PP recycled plastics for production. Trace moisture in raw materials has a significant adverse effect on the production of plastic products, so enterprises generally use additional drying equipment to dry plastics, which is a great waste of energy and manpower as well as increasing the cost of products. When the masterbatch is used, it only needs to be added to raw materials without any adjustment to the production process, and all problems such as bubbles, cloudiness, cracks, spots, and the like caused by moisture can be eliminated.

Usage

The masterbatch and damp plastic raw materials are directly mixed evenly, enabling the subsequent processing and production of products. If it is used in blow molding production, the addition ratio is 1%~2%; if used in sheet and injection molding, the addition ratio is 2%~5%. The specific addition ratio shall be determined by the user according to the dampness of plastics.

Packaging

Vacuum packaging, double-layer bag packaging, and paper-plastic compound bags (1 kg, 2.5 kg or 5 kg per bag). Masterbatch packaging is not allowed to be damaged, and masterbatch is not allowed to be stored in an open way. Sunlight exposure and rain should be avoided.

1. This masterbatch should avoid dampness and moisture absorption before use;

2. Prepare masterbatch on demand during use;

3. Do not heat and dry it with damp plastics simultaneously to prevent it from causing poor quality in processing;

4. Check whether the package is intact before opening, and reseal the unused masterbatch using heat sealing to pack up as soon as possible.
